APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Warren looking to add a Inventory Control Specialist to their already amazing team. The primary responsibility is to perform inventory and cycle counts ensuring accurate quantities are collected for each order.

    What your day will look like:
    
    
    • 
      
    • Collect product required for orders using a handheld scanner
      
    • Ensuring accurate quantities and parts numbers are collected for orders
      
    • Deliver customer jobs to technicians as requested and found on handheld scanner
      
    • Gather all return to inventory parts daily and return to appropriate locations
      
    • Perform cycle counts on inventory
      
    • Scan returned surplus/jobs to rack locations
      
    • Use hand tools when required to open packages
      
    • Operate a forklift and overhead crane to un-load in bound truck shipments
      
    • Receive jobs from customers including internal salespeople
      
    • Willing to train and become certified to drive a hi-lo.
      
    • Follow all safety policies and procedures for the entire organization
      
      
      What we are looking for:
      
      
      • 
        
      • 1-2 years' experience in a related field
        
      • Proficient with computer, basic skills with Microsoft applications
        
      • Willingness to work overtime as needed
        
      • Basic Math Skills
        
      • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. as needed
