Lead Kitchen & Bath Design Project Manager - Royal Oak, MI Primary Responsibilities: Due to extensive organic growth, our client is looking for a Lead Kitchen & Bath Design Project Manager with experience in the high-quality and high-end kitchen and bath industry! This person will play a key role in the overall continued success and growth of their Royal Oak, MI showroom. This High-End Kitchen and Bath company provides refinishing, refacing and removal, and replacement of cabinetry depending on the customer's vision and budget. In addition to the traditional 'walk-in' customers, over 100 leads are generated on a weekly basis through a high-tech digital marketing system. These leads are then distributed to one of the 4 Metro-Detroit locations based on geographical location and proximity to the customer's home or office. Additional support and prioritization also provided via an internal phone center, which conveniently sets every first design appointment. Their Lead Design Project Manager assists retail customers with the planning, budgeting, selection, and purchase of their kitchen remodeling projects. This person will utilize 20/20 for the design, visit the client homes to see space and take measurements, place orders, manage the projects through to completion, etc. We are looking for strong design professionals who are able to utilize their communication, outgoing personality, sharp eye for high end design, and relationship building skills during and after the sales and design process. If you love to design, manage projects, communicate, coordinate, and interact with people to create their dream kitchen and/or bathroom space, then this position is for you! Responsibilities: Design and develop innovative, functional, and elegant kitchen and bath design layouts using 20/20. Guide clients through the selection of cabinetry, finishes, countertops, appliances, and fixtures. Provide detailed CAD drawings, elevations, and perspectives for client presentations. Create and present accurate cost estimates and proposals . Read and interpret construction documents while ensuring ergonomic and efficient space planning. Visit client homes and measure kitchen and bath spaces to ensure a detailed, accurate, and best-feel design. Specify appliances, fixtures, and accessories tailored to project requirements. Generate leads, cultivate client relationships, and drive sales conversions . Manage multiple projects, from design concept through delivery and installation. Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors, and project teams to ensure seamless execution. Represent the company in a professional and knowledgeable manner within the design community. Days and Hours: Enjoy working a 32 hour work week in the showroom Monday-Friday, 10AM-5PM (1 day off, typically Tuesday) Saturday, 10AM-2PM Sunday, Closed After hours by appointment only 5PM-7PM Requirements: The ideal candidate must have the following qualifications: Must have over 3 years of related experience working in the in the Kitchen and Bath Industry; high-quality and high-end. Excel at selling Kitchen & Bath projects that are a minimum of $750-$1MM in sales per year (material and labor combined) Kitchen and Bath Design experience using 20/20 Strong Customer Service skills. Ability to listen and ask accurate questions to generate deep understanding of the clients ideas and vision. Ability to share ideas conceptually and explain project process. Ability to work, organize, and prioritize independently and in a timely manner Leadership qualities, confident, outgoing, empathetic, intuitive, and excellent listening skills.
