This position is accountable for the continuous development of electrical equipment, controls, automation, components and systems as assigned. Accountabilities: • Maintain PLC, PanelView, Robots and Servo drive controls, program upgrades and back-ups. • Prepare and maintain all required documentation on equipment (PLC, PanelView, Robots and Servo drives). • Prepare and update electrical drawings on AutoCAD. • Assist with PLC and Electronics training requirements for employees and deliver required training. • Interact with Production, Maintenance, Quality and Engineering department personnel. • Lead and advise to co-workers and help maintain Standard Operating Procedures, Best Practices and Job Safe Practices to ensure the transfer of knowledge to others. • Assist with continual improvement of manufacturing processes. • Assist with planning and implementation of changes to machinery and equipment. • Provide PLC controls and programming knowledge and skills to support all aspects of operations. • Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. • Fulfill all Health and Safety & Environmental responsibilities as identified in the HSE Management Standards, OHSAS 18001, and ISO 14001 Management Systems. • Ensure QMS conforms to the requirements identified in IATF 16949 and AMTB Process Map. • Fulfill all responsibilities as identified in the Employee Handbook. Skills, Requirements, and Personal Traits: • Education: Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree is a plus • 3 years working within the manufacturing industry (automotive preferred) • Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) • Advanced AutoCAD & Solid Works CAD software experience is a plus • Electronics/electrical troubleshooting abilities required • Experience in PLC’s and troubleshooting & diagnostics (ie.
