Christ Child House is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and mission-driven Clinical Therapist to join our dedicated team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a structured, trauma-informed residential setting supporting children who have not succeeded in traditional foster care environments.

As a Clinical Therapist, you will play a key role in transforming lives by developing and delivering individualized treatment plans for residents and their families. You'll work collaboratively with an experienced clinical team while promoting a culturally sensitive, strength-based approach to care.

What You'll Do...

Maintain a small caseload to ensure individualized care.
Assess resident and family functioning and develop measurable treatment goals.
Provide individual, group, and family therapy using trauma-focused interventions.
Support crisis counseling needs and facilitate aftercare planning.
Attend and present at internal clinical reviews and external stakeholder meetings.
Maintain up-to-date documentation and progress notes.
Participate in regular psychiatric reviews and interdisciplinary clinical meetings.
Contribute to training, program development, and continuous quality improvement.

What We're Looking For

Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field (required).
Valid Michigan driver's license.
Experience working with children in residential or therapeutic settings is preferred.
Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and time management skills.
Cultural competence and a commitment to trauma-informed care.
Candidates with experience in a Child Caring Institution are strongly encouraged to apply!
