The 5 Pavilion Medical/Surgical and Telemetry Unit specializes in acute care and medical support for a wide range of conditions, such as pneumonia, heart failure, chest pain and post-operation concerns. As an RN resident on this team, you will assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care. In this role, you will interact directly with patients, families, and visitors, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and supply healthcare information as needed. For a full list of benefits, click here. - Our Center for Workplace Violence Prevention and Caregiver Well-Being sets caregiver safety as a priority, identifying, reporting and responding to incidents and providing safety resources. This is part time position, two 12 hour shifts per week. A caregiver in this position works nights 7:00 p.m. 7:30 a.m. - Provide direct nursing care. - Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans. - Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions. - Administer prescribed medications and treatments. - Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. - Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs. - Educate patients and their families. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: - Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing - Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) - One year of current Acute Care RN experience OR military RN experience - Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities. Personal Protective Equipment: - Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required. Pay Range Minimum hourly: $33.50 Maximum hourly: $53.60 The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education.
