Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the
Emergency Room specialty. The nurse will work night shifts
consisting of 12-hour shifts. The unit is currently experiencing
high patient ratios. Travelers should expect ratios of 1:5-6, which
could increase to 8 depending on patient volume. The candidate must
be willing to work 3 weekends per 4-week schedule. Two of the three
major holidays must be worked, with one holiday off permissible.
Required certifications include ACLS, BCLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH.
Experience in Level I trauma settings is mandatory. The candidate
must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the
specialty. Preferred experience includes continuous IV sedation and
procedural sedation administration. The unit accepts first-time
travelers. High patient ratios and the nature of emergency care
require adaptability and specialized skills. Candidates will need
to demonstrate competency in the management of critical care
situations. Electronic Medical Record experience, specifically with
EPIC, is preferred. This role entails providing care to patients
