Job Description:

Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in integrated healthcare services, is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to oversee the nursing operations in one of our rehabilitation facilities. This role is instrumental in maintaining our commitment to excellent patient care and ensuring our services meet the highest standards of healthcare. As a Nurse Supervisor, you will manage our nursing team, coordinate with healthcare professionals, and ensure that patient care is aligned with our holistic health mission. You will have a pivotal role in upholding the values and standards of Encompass Health, making a significant impact on patient outcomes and satisfaction. Oversee daily operations of the nursing department and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Supervise, schedule, and evaluate all nursing staff to ensure quality and efficiency. Develop and implement nursing care plans in conjunction with other healthcare professionals. Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to enhance service delivery and clinical education. Manage patient care assessment, development of treatment plans, and monitoring of patient outcomes. Communicate with patients’ families regarding clinical issues and care plans. Ensure the maintenance of patient clinical records and report to higher management as per company protocols. Participate in the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new nursing staff. Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in healthcare software and tools In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices Ability to handle high stress situations and make critical decisions Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
