Job Description Job Description General Statement: Under the
direction of the Program Director or designee, performs duties in
directing the work efforts of assigned staff and day-to-day
operations of the program staff tasks; performs related work as
required. Minimum Requirements: Educational Requirements License
Requirements Year(s) of Experience Bachelors in Social Work
Michigan Bachelor’s Level Social Worker (LBSW) credential Two (2)
years experience working with adults with mental illness, substance
use, and/or developmental disabilities AND one (1) year experience
managing a caseload directly providing case management and/or
supports coordination services. Bachelors in Human Services Field
(or a related field such as Social Work, Psychology, Sociology,
Child Development/Family Relations, Occupational Therapy, Community
Mental Health, Chemical Dependence, Physical Therapy,
Rehabilitation Counseling or Education). Michigan Bachelor’s Level
Social Worker (LBSW) credential Three (3) years experience working
with children, adults, and families with mental illness, substance
use, and/or developmental disabilities AND one (1) year experience
managing a caseload directly providing case management and/or
supports coordination services. Additional Requirements: Ability to
obtain and maintain MDHHS credentials as a Child Mental Health
Professional and Qualified Intellectual/Developmental Disability
Professional (QIDP). Must be willing and able to work weekends,
holidays, or irregular hours. Must have a valid Michigan Driver’s
License, current automobile insurance, and the use of personal
vehicle during work hours; willing to transport consumers. Employee
must maintain valid licensure to retain employment. Ability to
physically perform the tasks. Ability to provide supervisory
coverage as needed. Essential Physical Demands: Vision – Position
requires the ability to visually assess details at both near and
far distances, as well as to perceive depth and spatial
relationships with or without reasonable accommodations. Hearing –
Position requires the ability to receive and respond to verbal
communication with or without reasonable accommodations. Lifting,
Standing, and Walking With or Without Reasonable Accommodations:
Position requires the ability to lift up to 35lbs on an occasional
basis Position requires the ability to regularly stand for extended
periods of time Position requires the ability to walk at a minimum
of 35% up to a maximum of 65% Position will require the ability to
occasionally stoop, bend, or reach to perform work tasks with or
without reasonable accommodation Position must be able to perform
tasks requiring manual dexterity, including the use of hands and
fingers for handling, grasping, typing, writing, or operating
equipment with or without reasonable accommodation BARGAINING UNIT:
NON-UNION FLSA STATUS: EXEMPT M-F 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM, some 9:00 am-
6:00 pm (weekends and after hours occasionally.
