Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school in Sterling Heights, MI, supporting a caseload primarily consisting of elementary students within an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) setting. This contract role offers 22 hours per week, spread over three days, with an anticipated duration through June 11, 2026. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct speech-language therapy services to approximately 25 elementary students diagnosed with ASD Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment and ongoing progress monitoring Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district policies and procedures Qualifications: Active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license Full Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably within an ASD or special education setting Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work onsite three days weekly in Sterling Heights, MI Benefits and Work Environment: Work within a supportive school environment focused on student growth and development Opportunity to gain specialized experience serving children with ASD Contract position with defined schedule and duration Collaborative team atmosphere with access to school resources This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SLP seeking a part-time contract position in a school-based setting with a focus on ASD student support.
