Apply now to join our Cleveland healthcare team./n /n/nJob Details/n /n - Location: Cleveland, Ohio 44195 (Greater Cleveland / Northeast Ohio)/n - Setting: Cardiac Stepdown / Neuro Stepdown (Progressive Care Unit / PCU / Telemetry)/n - Employment Type: Travel Contract – Travel RN / Travel Nurse assignment/n - Start Date: April 17, 2026/n - End Date: July 17, 2026/n - Contract Duration: 13 weeks/n - Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00pm – 7:30am), 3 shifts per week (Night Shift RN)/n - Weekly Hours: 36/n - Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 – $2,250/n /n/nJob Requirements/n /n - Minimum 18 months recent, permanent experience in Neuro Stepdown, Cardiac Stepdown, PCU, or Telemetry (travel RN experience accepted)/n - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or valid Compact RN license in hand/n - Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (active status required)/n - One supervisory reference in the specialty (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director)/n - Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (telemetry/arrhythmia competency)/n - COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical or religious exemptions considered)/n - Ability to work at least every other holiday during the contract/n /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Cardiac/Neuro Stepdown unit (Progressive Care / PCU)/n - Continuous cardiac and telemetry monitoring, rhythm interpretation, and early recognition of deterioration/n - Manage complex cardiac and neurological patients, including post-op cardiac, heart failure, arrhythmia, and stroke-stepdown cases/n - Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely and per protocol (medication reconciliation and safeMedicate practices)/n - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (cardiology, neurology, respiratory therapy, case management) to develop and implement individualized care plans/n - Document patient progress, assessments, and interventions accurately in the electronic medical record/n - Respond to emergencies and provide advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and neuro-stabilization as needed/n - Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge instructions/n /n/n /n Experience the best of Cleveland while advancing your cardiac and neuro stepdown nursing career.
