What You ll Do

• Provide hospital-based Interventional Radiology (IR) services as part of a 3-physician IR team (with APP support)
• Perform a full range of IR procedures, including:
  • Angioplasty and stent placement
  • Embolization and thrombolysis
  • Needle biopsy
  • Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE)
• Support a Level I trauma environment
• Manage Q3 call coverage (every third weekday and every third weekend)
• Collaborate with IR support staff (manager and two APPs) to support daily case volume
• Provide care for primarily adult patients (including geriatric frequent)

What You Need
Required

• MD (Board-Certified) Interventional Radiologist
• Ability to support Q3 call coverage
• Experience performing core IR procedures (angioplasty, stents, embolization, biopsy, thrombolysis, UFE)

Preferred

• Comfort with additional IR case types such as Ortho, Gyn, and Urology cases (as available)

About the Assignment
This is a hospital-based locum Interventional Radiology role at a leading facility in Lansing, Michigan, joining a well-established team of three Interventional Radiologists (plus APP support). The schedule is primarily day-shift with Q3 call coverage, and the site is open to providers who can travel and commit to 3+ weeks of coverage per month; credentialing is estimated around 90 days but may be fast-tracked to support an ASAP start.
