Job Description:
Event Facility Coordinator (Part Time) Toledo Zoo & Aquarium The
Toledo Zoo & Aquarium has been educating, inspiring, and providing
enjoyment to our community for over 100 years. The Toledo Zoo is
currently seeking an Event Facility Coordinator to help make
weddings and special events an unforgettable experience for our
guests. This position will collaborate closely with clients,
vendors, and zoo staff to ensure smooth event execution. The ideal
candidate is a proactive problem solver with strong organizational
and administrative skills. The willingness to go above and beyond
to ensure an exceptional event is critical. This position will
require exceptional customer service, listening, and communication
skills. Responsibilities will include coordinating client
drop-offs, overseeing rehearsals, assisting with event setup, and
ensuring seamless communication between all parties involved. This
is a non-exempt, part-time position under the Fair Labor Standards
Act. Minimum Training & Qualifications Previously experience in
catering, wedding/event planning, or customer service. Detailed
oriented work schedules include weekdays, weekends, evenings, and
can include holidays. Must have open availability for Fridays and
Saturdays. Must have the physical ability to work on your feet and
be able to walk the Zoo grounds for several hours at a time. Must
be 18 years of age. Must have a valid drivers’ license and be
insurable by the fleet insurance carrier. The Toledo Zoo is a
