Get the opportunity to see the site location and understand what the role entails.- **Job Offer** - Talk to our Recruiter about the specifics of the job offer, as well as next steps in the On-Boarding process.- **Background Check & Online On-Boarding Activities**- **In-Office Orientation** - **Basic Officer Training** - Video and Hands-on training regarding skills and techniques important for all Security Officers.- **Meet with our HR Team** - Complete your onboarding process, in-house drug testing, issuing of uniforms, and photo ID badge, meet with your Operations Manager.- **On the Job Training (OJT)** - Depending on the site location, you will complete anywhere from 2-40+ hours of On-The-Job training, learning the client-specific policies and procedures of the location you're assigned to.**Job Skills / Requirements****SCOPE:** Uniformed Security Officers at this site location will be responsible for protecting the store's employee's and customer's well-being and safety. Officers will be focused on the detection of suspicious persons and deterrence against shoplifting, burglary, and other criminal activity. Officers will do this by providing a visual deterrence around the store as well as providing outstanding customer service.**CURRENT OPENINGS:*** Mondays/Tuesdays from 12pm - 7pm* Wednesdays/Fridays from 10am-7pm* Saturdays from 9am-7pm* 35-39 Hours / Week (ACA Full-Time)**PERKS:*** **Rate of Pay:** $14.00/hour* **Benefits (eligibility requirements apply):** medical, dental, vision, life insurance, group accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, identity theft protection, and Paid Medical Leave. **LOCATION:** Clinton Township, MI**JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Must provide excellent customer service.* Will provide a visual deterrence against shoplifting and other unauthorized activity.* Conduct hourly foot patrol of interior and exterior to check entrances, doors, and windows are locked and secure against break-ins.* Ensure unauthorized persons do not enter restricted areas.* Look for suspicious persons, packages and activities.* May provide first aid or other medical treatment in emergency situations.* Must follow site specific post guidelines.* Will report potentially hazardous conditions and items in need of repair including lighting, plumbing, wet floors, etc.* Document daily activities and incident reports.* Other duties as assigned.**QUALIFICATIONS:*** Must be at least 18 years of age or older.* Must have either a high school diploma or GED equivalent.* May NOT have any felony convictions.* Must be able to successfully pass a drug test at the time of hire and randomly thereafter.* Must present a friendly, positive, professional image to Clients, employees, supervisors, managers, and the general public.* Must be willing to become CPR/1st Aide/AED Certified (prior certification is preferred).* Physical Requirements:+ Must be able to sit, stand or walk for the duration of the shift, including walking long distances, and possibly up and down stairs+ Must be readily able to respond to emergency situations+ Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds* Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.**Education Requirements (Any)**High School Diploma or GED This is a **Full and Part-Time** position
