Job Description:

Our competitive Account Executives are an integral piece to the success and growth of our company. When it comes to sales in the scrap business, our Account Executives not only sell our services, but they also buy commodities from our customers and are able to find the best solutions to our customers challenges. We are looking for progressive Account Executives that possess an intrinsic motivation for success, have the ability to negotiate and are excellent problem-solvers. The ideal person has a strategic and consultative approach to developing and fostering strong relationships while building trust with our company. The Account Executive will be responsible for developing and contributing to the long- term growth strategy of the division. This individual will be an accomplished account professional with demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining relationships with commercial accounts. In addition to maintaining current accounts, this position will require aggressively seeking out new markets and relationships leading to the procurement of obsolete electronic equipment or manufacturing scrap.

  • Build customer base by meeting with potential clients and educating them on products and services.
  • Develop ongoing sales strategies and maintain working knowledge of general economic conditions.
  • Respond to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within specified time frame.
  • Perform cold calls in an effort to increase customer base.
  • Effectively maintain and retain existing customers by building long-term relationships.
  • Prepare price quotations, terms of sales and delivery dates.
  • Monitor and develop reports relative to market trends, competitive products, pricing and sales volume.

  • Account Executive Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field required
    • 3-5 years sales experience required
    • Consultative and strategic approach
    • Well-developed presentation skills
    • Solid intellectual abilities including reading, writing, math and analytical skills
    • Critical, creative thinker who enjoys problem solving
    • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
    • Proven track record of successful business development
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Demonstrated excellent communication and follow-up skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
    • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office products
