Job Description:

As a Shipping and Receiving Associate, you will manage the flow of the warehouse's incoming and outgoing products. This pivotal role supports maintaining Quality Management System (QMS) standards and aids in the implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software initiatives. This is a temp-to-permanent position offering a pathway to increased responsibility and a pay raise to $17 per hour upon permanent hire.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Prepare and manage shipping documents using ERP software.Ensure outgoing products meet all process requirements through visual confirmation.Verify gage data and use inspection equipment as directed to ensure compliance with customer specifications.Handle, verify, and prepare a wide range of products for shipment.Maintain data integrity in the ERP system to track all outgoing products.Organize the dock and inventory areas through regular housekeeping.Comply with all safety regulations and use equipment appropriately to move materials safely.Provide additional support for various warehouse activities as needed.Minimum Qualifications:Preferred High School diploma or GED; relevant experience also considered.Minimum of 1 year in a shipping and receiving role.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with scanning equipment.Valid drivers license with a satisfactory driving record.Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds and meeting the physical demands of the job.Willing to work overtime and weekends as necessary.Work Environment:This position requires standing for extended periods and involves frequent lifting of materials up to 30 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds.
