Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Lab Associate III to
join our busy clinical lab environment. The successful candidate
will be responsible for organizing and processing specimens,
preparing testing equipment, and assisting with quality control
procedures. This role requires a combination of technical skills
and laboratory experience, ensuring the accurate handling of
specimens and data. Responsibilities Organize specimens for
testing, including racking, aliquoting, tube preparation, labeling,
handling, processing, transport, and storage. Identify specimen or
sample issues and take appropriate corrective action or escalate as
necessary. Accession and enter specimens into the Laboratory
Information System (LIS) and deliver them to the appropriate
testing departments. Prepare testing equipment and assist with
preventive maintenance; promptly report equipment issues to
technical staff. Prepare pre-analytical reagents and controls using
approved measuring devices and maintain accurate documentation for
approval and use. Maintain complete and accurate reagent, media,
and inventory records; manage ordering, receiving, storage,
rotation, and restocking of supplies. Perform data entry,
transcription, workload tracking, and prepare reports for review by
licensed personnel. Assist with quality control procedures,
validation verifications, and R&D activities, as applicable.
Prepare and update protocols, logs, and standard operating
procedures to reflect current processes. Essential Skills 2-3 years
of laboratory experience required. Knowledge of Chemistry,
Laboratory, Clinical Laboratory, CLIA, pipetting, and medical
laboratory processing. Experience with gas chromatography and
liquid chromatography. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Science preferred. Work Environment This
position is based in a very busy clinical lab environment with
increasing volume. The shift for this role is Sunday through
Thursday, from 10:00 pm to 6:30 am. Employees can enjoy benefits

Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of
Cleveland, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is
$54000.00 - $60000.00/yr. Day 1 Medical/Dental/Vision for FT
